A few years ago, my life was an unsolved puzzle. Every day was a battle with myself, with my thoughts, with my emotions. I didn't understand then that the way we think and perceive the world can profoundly influence our lives.

Every problem, every challenge I encountered, every misunderstanding in personal or professional relationships stirred me to the core. I felt overwhelmed, angry, sad, and sometimes even vindictive. Instead of looking for solutions or understanding where these conflicts were coming from, I wrapped myself in a cloak of negativity, letting hatred control me and cloud my outlook on life.

I was constantly asking myself questions like, "Why is life so cruel? Why can't I be happy too? Where is my happiness? What have I done wrong? Why am I not lucky like everyone else?" These questions, which you have probably asked yourself many times, enveloped me in a cloud of doubt and unhappiness.

But then, I discovered a book that changed my life: "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. This book opened my eyes and showed me that it is not my thoughts and emotions. It showed me that I can choose to live in the present, let go of the past and stop worrying about the future. It showed me that I can choose to let go of anger, hatred, revenge and live in peace and harmony with myself and others.

"The Power of Now" is a deep exploration of consciousness and how we can free ourselves from suffering by living in the present moment. Tolle shows us that most people live either in the past or in the future, but rarely in the present. He claims that living in the present is the only way to achieve true peace and happiness.

One of the most powerful quotes in the book is: "Life is now. There has never been another time when life was not 'now.' And yet people live as if the present were an obstacle they had to overcome. overcome. They see their lives as a path to an end point—a time in the future when everything will be fine, when they will be happy. But that point does not exist and never will. The only point that really exists is now."

Tolle urges us to observe our thoughts and emotions without judging or identifying with them. He says, "Noticing our thoughts means watching them without judging us. Observe them, let them come and go. Do not identify with them. You are not your thoughts."

By practicing this mindful observation, we can begin to free ourselves from our thoughts and emotions and live in the present. Tolle explains, "Releasing our thoughts and emotions does not mean denying or repressing them. It means noticing them, allowing them to be as they are, and letting them go. In this way, we can begin to live in present, to experience life as it is, not as we see it through the filter of our thoughts and emotions."

In conclusion, The Power of Now is essential reading for anyone seeking to live a more conscious and fulfilling life. By practicing presence and noticing our thoughts and emotions, we can experience a deeper peace and joy in our daily lives. Tolle reminds us, "True happiness cannot be found in the past or the future. True happiness is only found in the present."

If you find yourself in my story and if you are tired of feeling trapped in the past or worried about the future, I heartily recommend you to read "The Power of the Present". This book could be just what you need to change your perspective on life and find your inner peace.

In the next article I will talk about another experience and book that changed my life.
