Femininity: The Starting Point of Womanhood

James E. Faust once said, "Femininity is part of the God-given divinity within each of you. It is your incomparable power and influence to do good. You can, through your supernal gifts, bless the lives of children, women, and men."

This quote beautifully captures the essence of femininity. Femininity is more than what meets the eye - it's a rich blend of traits, values, behaviors and roles often associated with women. It's about gentleness and empathy, the way one interacts with others, and roles ranging from motherhood and caregiving to leadership and innovation.

This concept has witnessed a significant evolution over the centuries.

From the Victorian era's modest and submissive ideal to the modern woman's strong, independent image, femininity has grown and adapted to the changing times.

Reflecting on the life of a queen, the depth of womanhood becomes even more profound. A queen, in her essence, represents a full spectrum of womanly qualities: a leader, a nurturer, a diplomat, and a symbol of strength and resilience. Her femininity is her power, her influence, her divinity. It is through these qualities that she governs, leads, and shapes her kingdom.

Take for example, Queen Elizabeth I of England. Known for her intelligence, courage, and strong will, she defied the societal norms of her time. She embraced her feminine, as source of power. Her reign, marked by significant progress and prosperity, is proof that femininity and leadership can harmoniously coexist.

For me femininity is a divine gift, the foundation of every woman's journey.

Fully embracing and understanding my beauty took years. As a child, I was praised for it, but teenage skin issues and later on, weight gain altered my self-perception. Immersed in studies and lacking a feminine role model, I subconsciously suppressed my femininity, often choosing boyish trousers to avoid unwanted attention. Misconceptions in my society equated beauty with potential harm, further complicating my journey to self-acceptance.

During university, I sought a mentor, an experienced woman to guide me towards becoming a successful businesswoman and wife. I longed to explore new experiences, from fashion and makeup to attending events, travelling, dating, and even moving abroad. Despite my readiness to learn and grow, I didn't find the mentor I was looking for so I took it upon myself to navigate this journey.

Throughout this process, I've harmoniously blended spirituality and business acumen, evolving into a self-assured woman who values her inner and outer beauty.

I've cherished my interactions with people from diverse cultures, forming a handful of lifelong, quality friendships. I've found joy in visiting places that honour art, such as theatres, operas, and panoramic restaurants, often choosing to wear red as a symbol of my confidence and passion. I've become mindful of the importance of nutrition, personal style, and physical activity, which helped me achieve the physical shape I desired. My wardrobe has evolved into a blend of sophisticated business attire and elegant chic outfits. Along this path, I've consciously expanded my emotional intelligence and learned to celebrate each milestone of success. This personal and professional evolution has culminated in the liberation of my feminine energy, allowing it to shine confidently.

At this stage in my life, I find great value in reflecting on my journey. I now prioritize passion over obligation, embracing the inherently feminine act of creation.

I own my femininity, continuously learning and leading by example. An important part of my growth is being gentle with myself, viewing challenges as growth opportunities. I've reframed my view of money as a tool for opportunity and freedom, not stress. The process of unleashing my inner queen, embracing my gentleness, and shifting my perspectives is incredibly fulfilling. I'm eager to make a difference, and inspire others.

On my journey towards self-acceptance, I discovered my photogenic side and began enjoying photography. Recognizing social media's power, I decided to enhance my online presence by improving my profiles and investing in quality photoshoots.

To further self-improvement and broaden my digital skills, I enrolled in a Multimedia course to learn digital tools for photo and video creation, as well as blog and podcast creation. I understand that a strong brand image is crucial for anyone aiming to make a significant impact, including business owners, influencers, and entrepreneurs.

If you're a business owner, or even just thinking about starting a business, join me in the Multimedia course. It's an investment in yourself and your brand that will equip you with the tools to stand out in the digital world.
